Birthday Weekend
June 13: Swami’s Birthday & St. Anthony Day
We want to share with you some pictures of this past weekend. Swami was not in Springen, but of course we still celebrated his birthday, which happens to also be the Day of Saint Anthony, who is also very dear to us.
As
a kind of birthday present, we completed the first phase of creating a
cave for Babaji, which had
been Swami’s wish he expressed some while ago.
We hope you enjoy the pictures.

Welcome!
"The journey one has to make is from the mind to the heart" - Swami Vishwananda
Inspired
by Sri Swami Vishwananda, in the year 2004, a spiritual family was formed,
called "Bhakti
Marga". The name "Bhakti Marga" is derived from Sanskrit
and can be translated as "the path of devotion to God". On this
path, God becomes more and more the focal point of ones life, until finally
man becomes completely one with the love and omnipresence of God. Prayer,
meditation, repeating the Divine names, studying holy scriptures, self
reflection and selfless service are avenues to become more and more aware
of God’s presence. It is an aim of the Bhakti Marga project
to help people, irrespective of their religion, faith or background, in
their
individual
journey of
communing with the Divine as Love in one’s own heart.
Center Springen
In
September 2007, Bhakti Marga purchased the former seminar center of the
trade union (ver.di) in Heidenrod-Springen (Hessen, Germany, near Frankfurt).
The center is presently being thoroughly renovated and it should become
a lively regional and at the same time international center of attraction
for people who feel connected with the path of devotion. >more
