Description

Babaji Surya Namaskar is a prayer for your body, mind and soul. All different layers of your being will be connected, when doing this ancient set of asanas. Babaji Surya Namaskar is the original Surya Namaskar given by Mahavatar Babaji.

Paramahamsa Viswananda says: 'The physical body is important. You have been incarnating in the physical body, because there is no other way. Self Realisation will happen only in the physical body.'

Traditionally it is done in the early morning, greeting the rising sun, what means to really wake up and give God your glory. You bow down physically and mentally at the same time, practising Bhakti with your whole being. Bhakti means to live in consistency, to dedicate yourself to whatever happens in your life and stay connected with yourself, with life itself, with God. Embrace life and unite with the power of love, than you are awake, present and full of energy. There is the perfect flow of chemistry and things become clear. Life is at ease and the Divine will reveal itself.

By exercising Babaji Surya Namaskar, your whole being becomes a prayer. 'Every action, everything can become a prayer when everything is surrendered to Him.'

Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda
