Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda is a transcendent personality who is difficult to constrain to any ‘label’. However, one of the roles that he does fulfil clearly, is that of a Hindu Sri Vaishnava Acharya. As a result of that, his mission, Bhakti Marga, and all his initiated devotees also adopt a Hindu identity, characterised by its philosophy, practices and culture. It is a vast religion, very different to the Abrahamic faiths in many characteristics, and, unfortunately, often misunderstood by many people. However to define what it exactly means to be a Hindu is exceptionally difficult. To shed some clarity on this ‘identity’ and to better understand this seemingly complex religion, we will be addressing the following core points:

  • A Brief History of Hinduism
  • Hindu Scripture
  • Hindu Philosophy
  • Other Concepts In Hinduism
  • Important Deities
  • New Age Philosophy and Western Spirituality

Through this course, devotees will be able to better understand the foundation of Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s heritage and traditions that he has passed on to all of his devotees through Bhakti Marga. Participants will be empowered to better represent Gurudev’s beliefs, to explain many of the practices and traditions practiced within Bhakti Marga and have the best foundation for deepening their understanding of further topics such as Vaishnavism, Vedanta Philosophy and Comparative Religion.

This course will be simultaneously translated into following languages:
- French
- Italian
- Portuguese
- Russian
