Shirdi Sai Baba was a great Indian saint of the early 20th century who showed people of different faiths how to live together in unity and harmony in the love of God.

This special occasion gives you the rare opportunity to experience a traditional temple 'prana pratishta’* whereby a life-size ‘murti’** of Shirdi Sai Baba will be installed by Paramahamsa Vishwananda. The rite is surrounded by live devotional music, beautiful nature, and the charming atmosphere of the Shree Peetha Nilaya Ashram. All are welcome to attend.

Shirdi Sai Baba used to break all the barriers of religions that one can put in one's mind. He is a great example and a great saint, always humble. He gave and he is still giving so much to people.

Bhakti Marga has its headquarters at Shree Peetha Nilaya, meaning ‘Abode of the Maha Lakshmi’, the Divine Mother. It is located in the beautiful German countryside near Wiesbaden. Residents and guests come together every day to participate in special events, prayers, meditation, singing, seva, and to share their love of the Divine with one another.

In ancient times, yogis would receive Divine Inspiration through the connection to God in Nature. Shree Peetha Nilaya is such a place.

* Prana Pratishta: the rite by which a murti (statue of a deity or form of God) is consecrated in a Hindu temple, wherein hymns and mantras are recited that invoke the deity to reside in that particular form. The ritual infuses life into the Hindu temple and brings the deep spiritual presence of the deity to the temple.

** The murti is of similar size to the main murti of Shirdi Sai Baba in Shirdi, India
