Atma Kriya Yoga

Atma Kriya Yoga means bringing the awareness of the soul into everything you do. Each technique cultivates a different type of bhakti – love of the Divine – and opens the heart to the transformational power of Divine Love. Through the grace of Shaktipat Initiation, you will have everything you need to realise the Lord within your own heart.

The secret of the practice is not found through technique; it can only be realised when you do the techniques with love and the awareness of the Divine. Moment by moment - in every breath - and with each beat of your heart. When devotion is infused into your actions, a mere practise turns into your own personal time with God.

Awareness of the Soul in every action

Realise Your Eternal Relationship

The goal of true yoga is union with the Divine. The beauty of bhakti continually grows over time and is enjoyed through the realisation of your eternal relationship the soul has with God. Atma Kriya Yoga helps you to experience your eternal nature and to reconnect with God in your own heart.

Transcend Duality

Atma Kriya Yoga helps you to transcend the duality of the material world and to awaken to the Divine Love inherent in your nature. As your practice deepens, divine qualities naturally begin to manifest: peace, self-control, strength, wisdom, humility, compassion, vitality, and more.

Burn Karma

Atma Kriya Yoga purifies all levels of your consciousness: body, emotions, mind and intellect. The practice burns lifetimes of karma, removing everything that stands in the way of you ultimately realising the ever-present Divine in all of creation.

Atma Kriya Yoga is the easiest way to realise the unity with the whole, as it aligns the body, mind and spirit towards God-realisation. Atma Kriya Yoga stands for remembering that all is God and God is everywhere present.

What makes Atma Kriya Yoga Unique?

Shaktipat Initiation

Atma Kriya Yoga is the most powerful form of yoga available today. The Kriya Lineage's Shaktipat Initiation unlocks the full potential of the techniques and protects the practitioner throughout the practice. It also helps to dissolve karma so your inner light shines brighter and beams the love of God to all.

Grace of the Masters

Mahavatar Babaji is the father of all Kriya lineages and the guru of Paramahamsa Vishwananda: the Master of Atma Kriya Yoga. The blessing and grace of all the Kriya Masters is infused into the student through the Shaktipat Initiation, while devotional practise activates the blessing and leads the practitioner to God.

Full System

Atma Kriya Yoga is a full yogic system that includes meditation as well as energetic and physical yogic exercises. The practice is well-rounded and yet flexible enough to incorporate into a busy lifestyle. The bhakti awakened through practise dispels negativity and brings you closer to the God.

What People Say

I fell in love

After taking Atma Kriya Yoga I fell in love with everything about my life. I fell in love with my job, I didn’t like it as much before. I found the beauty in living the way I was living in the world and I found more acceptance for everything in my life. I started feeling love for everything. Now, everything I do, I try to do it with love and awareness. It doesn’t happen all the time, but I notice it is happening more and more often with the practice.

My Life is Better

Atma Kriya Yoga makes every piece of my life better. Physically it is stabilizing, if I’m feeling a little bit ill, it brings me back to this place of feeling strong and healthy again. If I am feeling mentally scattered, it brings me back to the place where I am clear about exactly what I want and how to make it happen. Spiritually it has brought me in touch with myself, what I am looking for on the spiritual path, who I am, how I relate to the Divine, to other people, and to the Divine in them and ultimately to the Divine that is in myself.
